Those who are interested in finding out the latest information about
electronic connectivity with Africa should try this new Web-service:

http://www.earth.org/~lips/Africa.html

It should provide regularly updated information. I was surprised how many
countries do have Internet (TCP/IP) access already (those marked with an
asterisk in the following list, quoted from this Web-page).
