I have been asked to relay the request for assistance with the
publication of a manuscript to the members of the list or someone
else whom they think can help in this matter.

It is by Lt.-Gen. Joseph Lagu. The book is a comprehensive story of
the life and the role of Gen. Lagu as a leader of the past guerrilla
army in South Sudan. For the benefit of those to whom Gen. Lagu is a
new personality, he was the leader of the Southern Sudanese
Liberation Army, the Anya Nya. This army was the one which
negotiated with ther government of General Numeiry that resulted in
the signing of the Addis Ababa Agreement of 1972. This book, when
published should be valuable for those who would want to have a
complete history of the Anya Nya.

If you can help in anyway to publish this manuscript, please contact
Gen. Lagu at:
