Visiting lecturer, History of the US since 1861
The Department of History at the University of Richmond invites applications for a full-time, one-year visiting lecturer position in modern United States history to begin August 2021. The area of specialization is political, social, and/or cultural history of the US since 1861; but the area of concentration is open. We seek candidates with demonstrated teaching excellence and a strong commitment to high quality undergraduate education. The teaching load is 8 courses per year. Experience with instructional technologies is required. PhD is expected prior to appointment. This is a non-tenure track appointment.
