Briar Cliff University of Iowa, an institution committed to higher education within a liberal arts and Catholic perspective, invites applications for a nine-month, tenure-track, assistant professor in History to start in the fall of 2020. Candidates will be expected to teach World Civilizations, European History, both surveys and upper division courses, and at least one sub-field of non-Western History. Preferred candidates will also have expertise in World Geography and Political Science. Ph. D in History, commitment to undergraduate teaching, and evidence of scholarship required.
