The Northwestern University Department of Economics anticipates filling a senior opening in Economic History beginning September 1, 2021. Duties include teaching, research, advising graduate students, as well as organizing and participating in the activities of the Northwestern Center for Economic History. Candidates at the rank of Associate or Full Professor must have attained international prominence in their field. Primary considerations for all faculty positions will be an outstanding research record, excellent recommendations, and teaching ability. Our primary goal is to identify outstanding candidates.
