Ivy Youth is a international education group dedicated to online education that connects university professors to high school students from all over the world. We invite applicants for our Global Independent Study/Research Project Programs in a variety of disciplines. A successful candidate will teach a 12-week online course. Responsibilities include weekly meetings with a group of 4-8 students (1.5 hours each session), reading literature in the field, providing research instructions, and guiding each student complete a research paper. Salary is from $3,500 to $6,000 for one 12-week online course. A faculty member may teach more than one course, depending on the enrollment. The courses are given each spring, summer, and fall semester. The appointment for the spring semester begins from Feb, 2019. Work location is flexible (anywhere with stable, fast internet connection) and meeting time negotiable.

Desirable teaching interests include Art History, Regional studies (Europe, Africa, America, and Asia including China and Japan), Anthropology, English Language and Literature, European History, Government and Politics, Law, Human Geography, Music Theory, Psychology, Economics, Statistics and Business, US History, World History, Education, Philosophy and Religions, Sociology and Social Studies, Women Studies, Computer Science, Biology, Mathematics, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Electrical Engineering, and Physics.
Requirements include a PhD in your field and experience teaching in a university setting. Online teaching experience and experience with international students are preferred.
