The Department of History and Social Sciences at Bryant University invites applications for a History non-tenure track, one-year appointment, at the Lecturer level, for the 2018-19 academic year.
The Department of History and Social Sciences houses four disciplines: History, Legal Studies, Political Science, and Sociology. There is a History minor, concentration, and major. The department is committed to Bryant’s philosophy of producing graduates with strong liberal arts and business orientations.
Principal Accountabilities:
This position includes teaching introductory and advanced undergraduate courses that will include some mix of courses on World History, European History, and Modern Thought.
Qualifications:
Candidates should have a PhD, or be a very advanced ABD, and have some teaching experience.
Working Environment:
The standard teaching load for non-tenure track positions is four (4) courses per semester.
