ROLE of the POSITION
The Communication Studies department at UNLV is hiring an open rank faculty member in Organizational, Small Group, or Relational communication, with the ideal candidate holding expertise in a combination of these areas. The successful candidate will: (1) teach required courses in Human Communication Theory and Quantitative Research Methods in the undergraduate and graduate programs, as well as electives in areas of expertise; (2) contribute to our growing MA program; and (3) work with community members and organizations on analyzing and developing communication solutions to urban issues.
QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires a PhD from a regionally accredited college or university, experience teaching in higher education and an established record of research.
SALARY RANGE
Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. Position is contingent upon funding.
