Alfred University seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor in History (Cultural/Social/Intellectual Historian). Candidates must be able to teach general education survey courses and offer courses in Latin American, African, or Asian history.
The successful candidate will be a member of the Division of Human Studies, including history philosophy, religious studies, and interdisciplinary art, housed in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences.
Teaching load will be three courses per semester, 4 hours per course.
Ph.D. preferred, but ABDs will be considered.
