The University of Alabama History Department invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professorship in U.S. Legal/Constitutional History, time period and research specialization open. The successful candidate will be expected to teach US Constitutional History to and from 1877, in addition to upper-level undergraduate and graduate courses in their areas of expertise and the American Civilization survey. The Department and the University emphasizes excellence in teaching as well as scholarship. Ph.D. must be in hand by time of appointment.
