Wabash College invites applications for a one-year part-time Visiting Assistant Professor or Instructor of World History. ABD applicants welcome. This part-time sabbatical replacement position consists of teaching three courses. Two courses are in the fall semester and one course is in the spring semester. The position does not include additional benefits.
Applicants must be able to offer both halves of the world history survey (to 1500 in the Fall; since 1500 in the Spring) and a mid- or upper-level course in their specialty. Specialization open except for American or modern Europe. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching, an appreciation for the broad intellectual community of an excellent liberal arts college, and the ability to work with a diverse student body. The Wabash College History Department offers a friendly, supportive, teaching-focused environment and a nationally known world history program.
