The African American Studies Program at Wesleyan University seeks a specialist in African American literature for a one-year visiting appointment, beginning July 1, 2017. The teaching load is 3/2 and in addition to survey and first-year seminar courses will include courses in the candidate’s areas of expertise. Applications should include cover letter, curriculum vitae, writing sample, statement of current research, and documentation of teaching experience, including course syllabi and student evaluations.
