General responsibilities:
- This position requires an ability and credentials to teach some combination of the following law courses: Admiralty and Maritime Law, International Law and Legislative Compliance, International Law, International Business Law, Business Law, Real Estate Law, and European Union Law
- Teaching and advising in a four-year college setting
- Participation in the College governance system
Qualifications and requirements:
- Juris Doctorate
- Familiarity with Admiralty and Maritime Law
- The candidate would also have appropriate and robust teaching experience at the college level and excellent written and oral communication
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with faculty and administrators
Preferred qualifications:
- LL.M.
- Familiarity with unique mission of Massachusetts Maritime Academy
Desirable Assets:
- Tutoring experience
- Experience with assessment of student learning
- Varsity athletic coaching experience at the college level
Salary: Commensurate with experience and subject to the MSCA collective bargaining agreement plan. The
Academy is not sponsoring immigration visas at this time.
