Neubesetzung der Stelle einer/eines Wissenschaftlichen Mitarbeiter/-in (E13)am Lehrstuhl für Theorie und Geschichte von Architektur, Kunst und Design der Technischen Universität München ab Mai 2017
Die Ausschreibung richtet sich an KunsthistorikerInnen und ArchitektInnen; erwünscht sind Promotion und ein nachgewiesener Arbeitsschwerpunkt in der Architektur- und Kunstgeschichte des 19./20. Jhs.
Die Aufgabengebiete umfassen die Entwicklung eines Post-Doc Forschungsprojekts, Lehre (z.T. in Englisch), Lehrstuhlmitarbeit, Mitarbeit an der universitären Selbstverwaltung sowie die Beteiligung an Forschungsprojekten des Lehrstuhls, die auch der Weiterqualifizierung dienen kann.
Die ausgeschriebene Stelle ist eine zunächst auf drei Jahre befristete Vollzeitstelle mit Möglichkeit zur Verlängerung um weitere drei Jahre. Die Hochschule strebt eine Förderung des Frauenanteils an. Qualifizierte Frauen werden deshalb nachdrücklich aufgefordert, sich zu bewerben. The Institute for Theory and History of Architecture, Art and Design, headed by Prof Dr Dietrich Erben, at the Department of Architecture at the Technical University of Munich, Germany, is looking for a new colleague starting May 2017
We are offering the position of a post-doctoral fixed-term lecturer (wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter/-in). Your obligations will include teaching core as well as elective classes to architecture students at BA and MA levels (5 lessons of 45 minutes per week, usually organized as two seminars, and possibly taught in English), engaging in research projects at the institute as well as developing an own post-doctoral/second book project, and administrative work. The position is directed at art and architectural historians or architects with a clear interest and publication record in architectural history and theory. A focus on architectural history of the 19th and 20th centuries and a PhD are desirable.
The position, beginning in May 2017, is full-time and fixed to a 3-year-term, which may be extended by another 3 years. Please note that this is not a tenure-track position.
