Hispanic/Iberian Caribbean, 17th-20th Centuries: The Florida State University Department of History invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position in the history of the Hispanic/Iberian Caribbean world, seventeenth through twentieth centuries. The areas of specialization are open. Successful candidates will be expected to work with the department*s diverse group of undergraduate and graduate students. Initial interviews will be conducted via Skype. The appointment will begin in August 2017; PhD must be in hand by start of appointment. The closing date for receipt of applications is December 2, 2016.
