The Department of History at Stanford University is seeking applicants for the position of tenure-track Assistant Professor in 19th-century U.S. history. Areas of interest include but are not limited to environment, gender, political economy, Mexican-American, Native American, and the West. Applicants will be expected to teach courses at both the graduate and undergraduate levels in 19th-century U.S. history.
