UNITED STATES HISTORY TO 1865
Indiana University Southeast invites applications for a visiting professor position in United States history prior to 1865 to begin in August 2016. To be considered for the position, a candidate must have the following minimum qualifications: an ABD/PhD in history at the time of application, college teaching experience, and effective oral and written communication skills. Teaching responsibilities include four courses per semester: freshmen survey courses in United States History; and upper level courses in early American history. In fall 2016, the upper-level course will be US History 1830-1865.Teaching experience in online, hybrid, and face-to-face environments desirable. Indiana University Southeast is an AA/EOE.
