The Department of History at Sam Houston State University seeks a Visiting Assistant Professor of History to teach courses in the History of the American West and also the U.S. History surveys for the academic year 2016-17. Preference for those candidates who can teach Mexican-American history and Texas history. Ability to teach online is desired. Course load is 4/4.
Ph.D. is preferred; ABD will be considered.
