African American History.
African American/19th and 20th Centuries. The Department of History at the University of Pittsburgh seeks applicants for a tenure-stream assistant professor in African American history, nineteenth or twentieth centuries, beginning in fall 2017, pending budgetary approval. The successful applicant will participate in a dynamic program of teaching and research built around cross-regional thematic collaboration. By September 15, 2016, submit your letter of application, a full CV, a single journal article or book/dissertation chapter, an abstract of the broader project, and email contact information for three recommenders to https://facultysearch.as.pitt.edu/apply/index/MTUx.
