History (Hamilton Campus): The newly created Department of Humanities and Creative Arts invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of World History at Miami University’s Regional Campuses. Primary responsibilities include teaching both halves of the World History survey (to 1500 and since 1500), as well as upper division courses in the candidate’s area of specialization. Service to the campus, community, or profession is expected. Require: Doctorate in History by time of appointment (August 2016). Desire: The ability to teach World History post-1945 and/or expertise in Digital/Public History is highly desirable. Interdisciplinary course development and experience with or interest in online or hybrid-online course formats is also welcome.
