The Department of Political Science at The College of Wooster seeks to fill a one-year visiting position at the level of Assistant Professor, beginning in the fall of 2016. We are looking for a broadly trained specialist in International Relations to teach introductory and advanced courses in the Department of Political Science and the interdisciplinary Global and International Studies Program, and to supervise independent research projects as part of the College’s Independent Study requirement. The successful candidate must have a demonstrated ability to teach Introduction to International Relations, Theories of International Relations, International Political Economy, along with disciplinary or interdisciplinary courses in their area of expertise. Participation in the College's interdisciplinary program, Global and International Studies, is also expected. We prefer candidates who will have completed the Ph.D. in Political Science by the time of appointment and who have had previous independent teaching experience.
