The Department of International Affairs in the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University invites applications and nominations for a tenured or tenure-track position in the field of decision-making and leadership, with a focus on foreign policy and national security issues. The position can be at the associate professor level or at the assistant professor level. The successful applicant will teach two sections of the department’s required course on leadership and decision-making in foreign policy, along with other courses to meet the department’s needs. Applicants should have a Ph.D. by the beginning of employment in September 2016. Candidates must have a PhD in Political Science, History, International Relations, Sociology, Psychology, or a related discipline. The individual selected must demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching and research in the context of a public policy graduate school environment.
