Center on Contemporary China, Postdoctoral Research Associate Position, 2015–16
The Center on Contemporary China (CCC) of the Princeton Institute for International and Regional Studies (PIIRS) invites applications for a postdoctoral research associate for the 2015–16 academic year (12 months), preferred start date August 1, 2015, with possibility of renewal pending satisfactory performance. The position is open to a scholar who would be in residence for one year and would participate in the activities of the CCC. The ideal applicant will have a Ph.D. in sociology or demography and advanced training in quantitative methods. He/she will collaborate with the center faculty/mentor in conducting empirical research on social stratification in China and methodological research on causal inference. The salary for a postdoctoral research associate will depend on the number of years beyond the Ph.D., not to exceed three.
