History (Regional History of Great Plains / Midwest), Assistant Professor. The Department of History at the University of Nebraska at Kearney invites applications for a tenure track assistant professor in Regional History (Great Plains / Midwest). This individual will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in their area of specialty, advise MA theses, provide service to the department, university, and community, and work within the department's Public-Digital History initiative.
Required Qualifications: PhD in US History with emphasis on Regional History of the Great Plains / Midwest, teaching experience, evidence of scholarly productivity.
Preferred Qualifications: Training and experience with Digital History / Public History, publications and conference presentations in area of specialization, online teaching experience, and grant writing experience.
