Anthropology - Augustana College invites applications for a Teaching Fellowship in Anthropology. This is a full-time, one-year position. A Ph.D. in hand is desired, but A.B.D. candidates will also be considered. The candidate will have teaching and research specialization in the anthropology of the environment, but the geographical focus is open. Teaching responsibilities will include Introduction to Anthropology, elective courses in the candidate’s areas of interest, and a course in the core curriculum for first-year students. The teaching load will be 7 sections for the year on a 10-week trimester calendar. Strong candidates will be able to demonstrate a desire to teach and mentor undergraduates, and to support the mission of the Department of Sociology, Anthropology & Social Welfare and the college.
