The Department of German Studies at Smith College invites applications for a two-year, full-time position as Lecturer. Appointment begins in July 2015, comes with full benefits, and includes teaching five courses each year. An advanced degree is required by the time of appointment.
The successful candidate will possess native or near-native fluency in German and in English, evidence of scholarly promise, and the ability to teach German language, literature, and culture at all levels. The area of specialization is open; interdisciplinary interests are welcome. Candidates with a proven record in digital pedagogy are especially encouraged to apply.
