Assistant Professor
The Department of Political Science at Howard University seeks applications for a tenure-track
position in American Government, specializing in constitutional law, at the rank of Assistant
Professor beginning in August 2015. Teaching responsibilities include undergraduate and graduate
courses in American government, constitutional law, administrative law, and judicial processes.
Candidates must have Ph.D. in hand by August 2015.
Candidates should submit: (1) a letter of application that includes a statement of teaching interests,
research interests, experiences, and future plans; (2) a current CV; (3) names and contact information
for three references; and (4) a sample of written work. Applications should be complete by February
