The History department at Armstrong State University is seeking a full-time lecturer (non-tenure track) to offer general history survey courses at its Armstrong-Liberty Center in Hinesville, Georgia. Position responsibilities include teaching survey courses in World History and American History. The standard teaching load is four courses per semester. Armstrong-Liberty Center offers many courses on seven-week, flex term schedules with day and evening classes. Summer term teaching opportunities are available as well. The History faculty at Armstrong is committed to excellence in teaching and student engagement.
PhD in History at the time of appointment is required with prior teaching experience at the university level preferred.
