The history program at the University of Houston –Downtown invites applications to fill a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the area of Latin American history (colonial and national period), beginning Fall 2015. Candidates should have an established research agenda, be willing to teach upper-level undergraduate courses in Latin American history as well as US history surveys, and contribute to service activities within the department and
the university.
Candidates must have or received a doctoral degree by the time of employment.
