Pomona College invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level, jointly appointed in the Department of History and the Intercollegiate Department of Africana Studies, with a focus on African history and the African diaspora. Ph.D. in hand or expected by August 2015. Pomona College, the founding member of the Claremont Colleges, is a highly selective liberal arts college attracting a diverse, national student body. The teaching assignment is two courses per semester.
