The University of South Alabama invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor in the Department of History, with a specialization in the United States since 1930, to begin August 15, 2015. The successful candidate will be responsible for advanced courses in the area of specialization and US history surveys, which may include large enrollment sections. Candidates should demonstrate excellence in teaching and research. The Ph.D. is expected by the time of appointment.
