Modern Europe. The Department of History at Binghamton University, State University of New York, invites applications for a one-year, full-time visiting assistant professor position in the history of modern Europe for 2014-15. The appointment will be effective September 1, 2014. Area of research expertise is open, but the successful candidate must be able to each twentieth-century German History. Ph.D. in history by the start of appointment and teaching experience are required. Salary is $55,000 plus health benefits and support for conference travel. Teaching load is 2/3, including one large lecture course with teaching assistants and two seminars, one at the graduate level.
