The Department of History at Albright College invites applicants for a one-year visiting assistant professor, beginning fall 2014, whose research and teaching address US History since 1865, field open. Preference will be given to those candidates with experience teaching the US survey. Candidates who are ABD or Ph.D. will be considered. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate introductory courses covering American history from the 19th century through the recent past, but will also have an opportunity to teach more advanced or specialized courses. The Department seeks student-centered faculty members with a commitment to supporting diversity and the liberal arts mission.
