ROLE of the POSITION
The Assistant Research Analyst will be responsible for coordinating and conducting research activities, working collaboratively with project partners to address existing project requirements, and work with NICRP staff to develop ideas for related grants and projects. Duties will include assistance with literature reviews, design, implementation, collection and management of research and data; data cleaning, sorting and analysis; grant development; literature reviews; writing reports and publications; collaboration with community partners. The particular duties of this position are dependent upon grants and/or contracts awarded.
QUALIFICATIONS
Assistant Research Analyst: Minimum of a Master’s in a related social science from a regionally accredited college or university. Additionally, the candidate should have at some experience conducting social science research, preferably on children’s issues, have knowledge in conducting qualitative or quantitative research (i.e., knowledge of research methods, data analysis, human subjects protections, and/or database development); demonstrated ability to multi-task; demonstrated computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and statistical software (SPSS/PASW, SAS, or Stata).
SALARY RANGE
Salary competitive with those at similarly situated institutions. Position is contingent upon funding.
