The Institute for Jewish Studies and Interfaith Understanding (IJIU) of Old Dominion University, affiliated with the Department of History and the Graduate Program in International Studies, invites applications for a one-year position in Jewish history and culture, with a focus on the contemporary Middle East. Compelling evidence of scholarly activity and teaching effectiveness is required. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to programs, including community events, sponsored by IJIU. Completed PhD in History, International Affairs, Israel Studies, or related field of study is required by the time of appointment and preferred by time of application.
