Atlantic History. Tenure-track assistant professorship at the University of Dallas, a Catholic liberal arts institution featuring an extensive core curriculum for undergraduates. Beginning August 2014. Specialization in the history of the Atlantic World in the early modern period. In addition to teaching in the area of specialization will have responsibility for teaching sections of the university’s American Civilization sequence as well as Western Civilization II. Ability to offer surveys in the history of east Asia or in the history of South America highly desirable. Ph.D. required. Better candidates will have a substantial record of teaching in the relevant subject areas. Salary competitive.
