INSTRUCTOR OF HISTORY
The Department of History at Auburn University invites applicants for one (non-tenure-track) position at the rank of Instructor. The one-year appointment will begin August 16, 2013 with a possibility of renewal for up to two additional years contingent upon need, funding, and satisfactory performance. Ph.D. in History prior to employment date is preferred, but outstanding candidates who are in the final stages of doctoral candidacy will be considered. The appointee will be primarily responsible for teaching multiple sections of world history in the university undergraduate core curriculum but may also teach other undergraduate courses in his/her areas of specialization depending on department need.
