The Department of History at Kansas State University invites applications for a tenure-track position in the military history of Western Europe, including Britain, 1789 to the present, starting in Fall, 2013. Teaching responsibilities will include a World or Western Civilization survey course, upper-level undergraduate courses in area of specialization, graduate courses in military history, and participation in an interdisciplinary Security Studies program. The typical teaching load is 2 courses per semester. Ph.D. is required by the time of appointment.
