Modern Jewish History since 1800. The History Department at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (www.unc.edu/depts/history) invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position, beginning as early as 1 July 2013. Ph.D. preferred. Candidates for the position should demonstrate strong scholarly promise and a commitment to teaching modern Jewish history, including the history of the Holocaust; and the person appointed to this position will be expected to contribute to the interdisciplinary work of the Carolina Center for Jewish Studies (http://www.unc.edu/ccjs/).
