Assistant Professor of History, Early America. Tenure-track appointment for the 2013-2014 academic year. Ph.D. from an accredited institution in History preferred. ABD considered. Secondary fields may include but are not limited to environmental and/or public history. All full-time faculty in our growing department teach freshman/sophomore level liberal studies courses, upper-level/graduate courses, and play significant roles in implementing the university’s new Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP). WCU is committed to the Boyer model of scholarship, stewardship of place, integrated learning, and engagement.
