The History Department in the College of Liberal Arts at Armstrong Atlantic State University is seeking a tenure-track, Assistant Professor in Geography.
The successful candidate will teach core curriculum courses in Cultural Geography and World Regional Geography as well as Physical Geography at the upper division. Additional upper division course offerings will be determined by the candidate’s area of special expertise. The candidate will also will serve on university and departmental committees, advise students, and participate in professional development activities.
An earned Ph.D. in Geography. ABD may be considered. Geographical Information System (GIS) skills required.
Prior teaching experience at the college/university level preferred.
