The Department of Theology and Religious Studies invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for a temporary teaching fellowship of ten months from 1 September 2012. The fellowship will be awarded to a specialist in East Asian Religions. You will be expected to contribute to and develop the department's provision of teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level in Asian religions, including courses on Mahayana Buddhism, Chinese religions and Zen Buddhism. You should also be prepared to teach an introductory first-year level course on Buddhism. You should normally have received your PhD by the date of appointment.
