African History. The University of Central Arkansas invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professorship in African history. PhD desirable by time of appointment, August 2012. Successful candidate will teach world history surveys and an introduction to African/African-American studies course. The department expects to conduct a search for a tenure-track position in African history during the 2012-13 academic year.
