World History. The University of Tennessee History Department seeks applicants for a non-tenure track lecturer in World History. The one-year appointment begins in the fall semester of 2012 and involves teaching the second half of the World Civilization survey (from 1500 to the present) as well as upper level undergraduate courses in the lecturer’s area of specialization (Africa preferred, but all applications will be considered).
Ph.D. with teaching experience preferred. Submit cover letter, CV, sample syllabi, and two letters of recommendation to Dr. Laura Nenzi, University of Tennessee History Department, 6th Floor Dunford Hall, Knoxville, TN 37996-4065.
