The Department of History at Birkbeck College, University of London seeks to appoint a Post-Doctoral Research Associate for up to five years, to work with Dr Sunil Amrith on a new European Research Council-funded project: “Coastal Frontiers: Water, Power and the Boundaries of South Asia”.
The project will examine the environmental and political history of the Bay of Bengal’s coastal regions over the past century.
