The Department of Sociology in the Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences at the University of Southern California (3620 S. Vermont Ave., Kaprielian Hall 352, Los Angeles, California 90089-2539) invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Sociology position in the area of Social Demography, with an anticipated start date of Fall 2012. We seek applicants trained in rigorous quantitative methods and/or formal modeling. Our department has strengths in gender, race, immigration, family, and life course. Candidates must have their PhD at the time of appointment.
