The Department of Political Science and the Public Policy and Law Program at Trinity College invite applications for a full-time, tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in American politics and public policy commencing with the 2012-2013 academic year. Applications from candidates with expertise in environmental, health, or social policy are particularly welcome. Candidates should be strongly committed to undergraduate and interdisciplinary teaching, have a well-articulated plan for sustained research, and demonstrate an ability to teach an undergraduate course in research methods that is both quantitative and qualitative as well as the core courses in our interdisciplinary public policy and law program. She/he will be housed in the Political Science Department but will hold a joint position with the Public Policy and Law Program. The Ph.D. should be in hand or expected by August, 2012.
