Assistant Professor in Middle East History
The Department of History invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor in Middle East History. Ph.D. or equivalent required. The successful applicant must demonstrate an excellent research record in any region or period of the Middle East; effective teaching, including the ability to teach the history of the modern Middle East; and an active professional profile. Teaching obligations will extend from introductory undergraduate courses to more specialized upper-level undergraduate courses and graduate training in the applicant’s own area of research expertise.
