African Studies/Africana-American History – Niagara University in Western New York, a private Catholic institution sponsored by the Vincentian community, invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the Department of History, beginning August 2011. Ph.D. must be completed by start of appointment. Teaching load is three courses per semester, including offerings in African-American history and Africana Studies, as well as General Education courses (e.g. HIS 199, U.S. surveys).
