The Department of Language & Literature invites applications for a faculty position in English/Arabic Translation. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in Translation Studies or a closely related field, be a native speaker of English, and have the ability to teach translation from Arabic into English. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in the areas of corpora studies, machine translation, terminology, and language engineering with a focus on Arabic. All members of the department also teach in the English language communications skills/composition program of the University. |
